Tervis Tumblers

My uncle, who works at Tervis Tumblers in Florida sent my family these water bottles! I think they are adorable! Of course I got the one that says DIVA, no surprise there. And of course there are the Steeler tumblers because my family is made up of huge steeler fans!

You can find all kinds of designs on their website or even customize your own  tumbler!

Halloween Treats

Over the weekend I went to a Halloween get together with some friends. We all decided to bring some kind of Halloween food. I made ghost cookies from a website I found on Pinterest. They are incredibly easy to make and everybody loved them. Here is how to make them!

First, melt the white chocolate until it is nice and creamy. I put some coconut oil in the melting pot to help make the chocolate a little bit smoother. You can also had crisco or any other type or vegetable oil.

When the chocolate is completely melted, dip the nutter butter cookies into the chocolate. You can cover the entire cookie or just half or it depending on your preference.

Place the chocolate covered cookie on wax paper and add two mini chocolate chips as eye.

Finally, let the ghosts sit for a few hours so the chocolate is hardened.

Painting Pumpkins

Painting Pumpkins

Decided to get crafty today! I painted two mini pumpkins. One in Steelers colors and one with the breast cancer ribbon on it to support October’s breast cancer awareness month!

Just another Tuesday

As I sit here in Starbucks I look around and see everyone going about their day. There’s an older couple in the corner talking and sipping coffee. A younger kid sits behind me with his headphones on staring his computer. I’m drinking my mocha frappuccino and reading a book about creative photo ideas. I want to start taking photographs daily to capture my life. I want to be able to express myself through photography.
